The First 100 Days
The First 100 Days Should Establish How We Intend to Govern.
From promises to action
Three Phases, One Standard
-
Days 1-30
Listen & Learn
The first responsibility of leadership is to listen.
- Meet with constituents and community leaders
- Hold listening sessions across the district
- Meet with local governments and civic organizations
- Identify urgent priorities
- Establish transparent constituent engagement
Understand before acting.
-
Days 31-60
Build & Act
Once we listen, we begin turning priorities into action.
- Develop legislative priorities around the Seven Pillars
- Build bipartisan and community partnerships
- Identify federal resources that can benefit the district
- Begin advancing priority legislation and policy initiatives
- Establish measurable objectives
Turn priorities into action.
-
Days 61-100
Deliver & Report
Accountability begins with communication.
- Publish progress on commitments
- Report publicly on legislative and constituent work
- Identify what is working and what needs improvement
- Establish ongoing public accountability
Show the people what is being accomplished.
Results You Can Measure
Good Intentions Are Not Enough.
Accountability should not be something people have to demand. It should be part of how government operates.
